By resolution No. 186 of 4 November 2015, the Academic Senate adopted the following guidance note pursuant to Article 2, Section 3 of the Tutoring Regulations:
According to the Regulation on Tutoring, all departments are required to set up ‘a Tutor Coordination Body consisting of a minimum of three and a maximum of seven lecturers, a student representative on the Department Council and the Head of the department’s teaching unit or his delegate, with organisational and service monitoring functions as well as making proposals to the Course Councils and the Department Council on the initiatives to be taken’.
The DVS Tutoring Body was established in the Department Council on 30/03/2016 by resolution No. 49. Since 28 September 2017, in addition to the competences established by the University Regulations for Tutoring, the Tutoring Body also assumes the investigative competences of the Orientation Commission (P.U. of the Department Director Prot. no. 6939 of 28/9/2017).
the Tutoring Body meets periodically and draws up minutes of its meetings, which are filed in original form with the Education Unit.
The activities of the Body for Tutoring, Entrance Orientation and Peer Tutoring are regulated by a specific departmental procedure.
