The training experiences envisaged in the course include theoretical lectures, seminars held by freelancers, individual and/or small group exercises (classroom or laboratory) and off-site lectures. During and at the end of the course there are periods of practical training; the final internship is intended for the preparation of the project work that will be discussed at graduation. Traineeships may be carried out not only at the University’s facilities, but also in other companies or organisations outside the Department of Veterinary Sciences that have an agreement with the latter.
The degree course has a limited number of students. Some seats will be reserved for NON-EU citizens applying for study visas.
The admission test (TOLC-AV) is organised in collaboration with CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi Integrati per l’Accesso) and consists of a multiple-choice test. The admission test is deemed passed if the student obtains a score equal to or higher than the threshold for admission specified in the competition notice. The TOLC-AV may be taken several times: in all cases, the test with the highest score will be considered valid for selection purposes. At the end of the competition notice, a ranking will be drawn up on the basis of the overall descending score achieved in the test (TOLC-AV).
